Growth mindset versus Fixed mindset
"I'm going to try something new. If it doesn't work out, I will improve and try it again." Martha Ramirez,2020. Growth mindset
"We've always done it this way." Martha Ramirez, 2020 Fixed mindset
As you have already observed in one hour Martha's presentation that was recomended by our professor "Caolina", the power of "Growth mindset" was really demonstrated clearly. As you noticed, there are useful examples of Growth and Fixed mindsets in different ways which are very interesting for education followers.
As you have already read the first example which I have selected to share with you, the Growth mindset can be understood perfectly. For me, it is fundamental to follow the way of teaching and learning in a useful manner. A growth mindset is not only a good strategy in order to increase the ability of the learners but also can be a very essential tool for educators in their private life.
On the contrary, Fixed mindset in the second example which is given by "Martha" could be explained that there is no way to do things in another form because we are always doing in that way. As you see for the fixed mindset people nothing is possible and life is going on as it is, but the reality of life should be very interesting to the people who are looking for happiness without giving up and feeling tired.
Finally, I want to mention that Growth mindset people are really enjoying their life, but Fixed mindset people are on the contrary. Bijan Nassiri
